Globetrotting

Exploring places I have never visited before, picking up words from various languages, tasting mouthwatering delicacies (I am a vegetarian), and meeting people from many walks of life have made me appreciate diversity and reap its many benefits. Oh! Btw, I have circled the earth twice.

Capturing Moments

How one photographs the world depends on how one sees the world, and how one sees the world is often a reflection of how one feels in one's heart. The world is abundant with beauty. I am fortunate to have seen and photographed some of the majestic creations of nature and humankind. See them while you can!

Amateur Astronomy and Space Sciences

Space and sky fascinate me. If I were not an electrical engineer, I would have been an aeronautical engineer, astrophysicist, or an astronaut. I enjoy amateur astronomy and make time to catch a glimpse of, or lack thereof, celestial objects during phenomena such as eclipses and meteor showers. I have volunteered at a 100-year old observatory and photographed Saturn, Milkyway, etc.

Hiking, Biking, and Camping

There is something about being in nature that I enjoy. I like to camp and bike ride. Admiring picturesque landscapes, going for moonlight walks or bike rides, holding hands and watching colorful sunsets, and building fire under the stars are the treats I’d take any day. The wonders of nature remind me to be grateful to the creator.

Private Aviation

Quoting Eddie Rickenbacker, "Aviation is proof that given the will, we have the capacity to achieve the impossible." I am a student aviator and also like to play with model RC aircraft. I aspire to own an airplane someday. Btw, N733CP is the one I received flight training on.

Trains

Nothing can be more enjoyable than a scenic train ride, especially the one through the spectacular Swiss Alps. I grew up associating trains with vacation and fun. I have traveled on several high-speed trains around the world. I also have some HO scale model trains that I enjoy playing with when the little child inside of me wakes up.

Numismatology

What can make better souvenirs than coins and notes? I am fond of collecting currencies and stamps (sometimes). I do have some extras from time to time. If you want them, you have to be friends with me.

Listening Music

I have cultivated a taste for various types of music during my travels. My playlists include some songs in languages I do not understand. I guess whatever sounds good to one's ears and can soothe one's soul is good music. I learned to play a keyboard when I was a child; I may recall a tune or two. No promises, okay!
